Burial: Believe to be in Fall Creek Cemetery. "A stone marks the grave of Jesse Boston [brother] in the old Falls Cemetery. Near it are several graves in what appears to be the early family plat. Elijah Boston does not have a legible marker."
Madison County, Indiana.
Proof: "Elijah Boston was born in Maryland. He engaged in mercantile pursuits prior to the outbreak of the Revolutionary War. Elijah enlisted in the American forces and became an officer in a Maryland regiment. His record of service is certified in the Margaret Water's DAR Supplement.
"Several members of the family, including Elijah and a brother Jesse, settled near Pendleton early in the 1830's. An entry in the county records shows Elijah Boston owned land in section 9 of Fall Creek Township [Madison County].
